Fouad Attar is a career aerospace executive with four decades of experience spanning engineering, airline operations, and commercial aviation at the highest level.
As Managing Director of Airbus Middle East, he led all commercial activity across 35 countries for nearly 15 years—managing sales, customer relationships, and market strategy for a region that became one of Airbus's most important growth markets.
Before Airbus, Fouad held senior leadership roles at Air France Industries, EADS Sogerma, and Royal Air Maroc, building deep operational knowledge across MRO, engineering, and fleet management.
He founded Mermoz Aviation Consulting and Services in 2020, and served as CEO of Veling Aircraft Leasing until 2023. In 2024, he was appointed Senior Adviser to the Board at Aircraft Finance Germany (AFG).
